All About Me...
My name is Abigail L. Bliss. I was born and raised in upstate New York and am the youngest of five children. In my lifetime, I have had the opportunity to live abroad multiple times and travel to a number of different places across the globe. Mark Twain couldn't have said it better when he said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”
Outside of work, I enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Gardening, fly fishing, climbing, yoga, hockey, college football, reading, rafting, exploring new restaurants, hanging out with my dog Watson, and enjoying the company of my friends. I am music lover and enjoy attending local concerts, taking photographs of motion, making short films, as well as a slew of many other activities. Currently, I'm not sure where exactly this road I'm on will lead me. What I do know is that I will try to enjoy every step I take along the way, soaking in as much information, continually growing, and learning something new each day. As Mike Libecki would say "Life is Sweet: Death and/or old age is coming.....we must live sweet. The time is now. Why ration passion? Dream big.....and climb those dreams. After all, it is not only life, but the quality of this life." We only have one life to live, so I guess it's best we live it to our hearts content. At the same time we need to be conscientious of our surroundings and make sure we're vigilant, and that we are continually doing our part to protect this planet we live on, so there will be a better tomorrow. |
